This is the one weekend in October that I am out of town. I'll keep an eye out for the next one.

I am planning to run the Main Divide trail (South at Hwy 74 to Santiago) before the event if it is still open. I will need to verify beforehand with the Ranger station. I am hoping to hit the dirt at about 7:30 or so and end up at the meetup spot at 9ish.

I am also planning to have some Vantage Optics product available at the meet. If you are interested in anything in particular let me know and I will make to sure include it.

Hey Scott/Redoval ---
How challenging is the overall technical level of the route you're taking? Curious where you make your entrance into the divide off of 74.

A year or so ago I attempted to drive up into the divide trail by taking the fire road that takes you up to (and past) the Bluejay campground, and it seemed pretty tame for quite a while....until suddenly it was abruptly too steep and loose (and big-whooped/potholed) for my stock 2WD rig to keep going.

In the time since however, I've gotten a 5" suspension lift / 33's / rear locker --- so I'm wondering what to expect (or need) to make the run with ya. Sounds cool as heck!

It's not bad at all in my opinion being mostly a fire road. I did the trail earlier this year and it was quite tame with no wheel spin to make any of the climbs. I would say that if you love your paint...this one isn't a good trail. You will leave with plenty of pinstripes from the narrow sections. Hit me up if you are interested and we can work out specifics.

Silverado Canyon Market has graciously offered the use of their parking lot. It's a cool little store with coffee/donuts. There's also a diner next door with a pretty legit breakfast.

Looks likes we'll be able to make it to this. It's been a long time since I've been able to make it to a meet-up so I'm really looking forward to it.
See you all on Sunday.
Cheers,
John

Glad to see the recent RSVPs. Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

Note: The market owners asked that we park at the west end of the parking lot.
