A year or so ago I attempted to drive up into the divide trail by taking the fire road that takes you up to (and past) the Bluejay campground, and it seemed pretty tame for quite a while....until suddenly it was abruptly too steep and loose (and big-whooped/potholed) for my stock 2WD rig to keep going.

In the time since however, I've gotten a 5" suspension lift / 33's / rear locker --- so I'm wondering what to expect (or need) to make the run with ya. Sounds cool as heck!
Tryin to make it Sunday if I finish job Saturday, are you guys going to run the offroad trail? If I so could bring my plated Ktm and put along if there’s somewhere close to park my van legaly I can double back for it or loop around on highway, thx

Zappo,

I am expecting to be at the Main Divide road trail head on the Ortega/Blue Jay Campground side at 730am.

I have three differential breather kits, Colby Valves, and a set of custom headlights with me to sell at the meet for those interested.

See you all in a bit!

Thanks for coming out! I expected 8-10 vans and I think we had at least 20. Really cool to see everyone, put some faces to names and check out some pretty creative vans.

Thanks Brian!!! Super cool gathering.
Seriously dug the in-person meeting of so many cool people.

Really hope it becomes a semi-regular thing.

Thank you

Thank you to all of you that shared your vehicles and knowledge with a non-owner. I have only been a member for a couple of months but continued to be impressed by your site, the skilled builds and wealth of information!

For kicks I included a couple of pics of my current camper that I mentioned to a few of you, 4x4 87 Astro Proven Tiger GT. Hope thats ok.......
