Spotted SMB in Uinta Mountains

Spotted this Sportsmobile on Memorial Day in the Uinta Mountains in Utah. These people borrowed the rig from a friend. Great friend! They did not know whether the friend was on the Forum. I wasn't in my Sportsmobile today, so no pictures of my rig.

The Uinta Mountains are only 30 minutes from our home. This is the view five minutes from our home on the road to the mountains.

Spring runoff in the Bear River

Not much traffic for Memorial Day

Kletting Peak, elevation 12,055 feet

Provo River Falls

Pass Lake. Lots of people fishing there today.

White flowers in a green meadow.

If you are ever out this way in your SMB, stop by Evanston, Wyoming and let's go camping together in the Uinta Mountains.

Re: Spotted SMB in Uinta Mountains

That was not us, but we were down in Vernal (I think on the other side of the Uintas?) over the weekend. Saw a nice SMB down near Flaming Gorge while we were passing through. We came down through Rock Springs....

Hey, dparkwy I ran into some friends of yours from Jackson in their SMB on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon over Mem Day. Does skibradshaw ring a bell?

Oh yeah, that was Tim and Mary Lynn. Great friends. We were supposed to meet up in Vernal but that got scratched. They're headed up to Jackson soon so we'll camp out with them soon enough! Hope you had a good Memorial Day.

Re: Spotted SMB in Uinta Mountains

This SMB was listed on this site before, the owner had agreed to sell it to me for 14k. The day I was going to head down to pick it up he told me a friend wanted it solo I was SOL.
