Great trip report as always! You capture your travels and experiences with your photos really well.

I got a kick out of seeing your pictures at Pacific City and Cape Kiwanda. We have a condo there and make it over 4 or 5 times a year. We climb the dune every time and visit the same tide pools I'm sure you're talking about (at the base of the dune). The view from the top of the dune is fantastic. It's become a tradition to run down, all the way from the top. Usually its kids doing that sort of thing, but I can't help myself. Once you get going it's hard not to start running.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures and reading about your travels.

Great trip and really nice pictures! thanks for sharing them!
I'm 99.9% sure I saw you heading home over Tiger Mt. near the summit about 5-5:30 as I was heading home from hiking the Middle Fork trail!!
The van looked awesome!

Q & A:

Kelso - Tire pressure on the sand? Lowest was at 30 PSI (all four tires).
Rockbender - Type of Positraction? ARB Air Lockers (both ends).
Buffalo - Sighting? Yep, that was us going over Tiger Mtn.

Thanks a bunch for all that!

I noticed that +1 had some excellent scratches and bumps... that's the way to raise 'em!

Very interesting report on the lack of need for all your recovery gear... you just need to add beer next time, and all your RG dreams will come true.

Great pics and description of trip. Never been up the OR coast but wanted to move up there
as I hear it is wonderful and quiet. Thanks for sharing.
