You won't recognize Mammoth when you get back there. Not sure if the RV park is even there anymore.

I don't know how I missed this thread... we're doing the same thing, starting Feb 24th and heading North... Jackson, Grand Targee, Big Sky, Bridger then Red Lodge. Doesn't look like anyone's travels are taking them that direction, those dates, though!

Great trip/information. You are a bit ahead of us. We'll be heading North in a couple days, either to Monarch or Cooper. Plan to see my niece in Denver early next week and my son flies out on Wed.

last I talked with ray he was going to be in teton area the 22nd and be there for about 6 days. we should be in the teton valley by noon on the 24th and will be there until the 27th, but we will be riding the teton pass. were too poor for resorts
always game to meet up with fellow enthusiasts though. shoot me your contact info maybe we can meet up when your in the area. ray camped out with us a few nights last year and we had definitely shared a few laughs

For me, the beginning of the end, was when all the fancy outlet stores starting showing up years ago.

Sweet! We're playing it by ear, but trying to be in Jackson the 24th or 25th, then head to Targhee on the 27th. I think we're camping in a friend's driveway in Jackson, but sounds like we can camp at Targhee the 27th. Anyone have any idea on camping in Big Sky, Bridger Bowl or Red Lodge?
And let's absolutely try to meet in Jackon if shenrie or 1der is going to be there at the same time!

Poor timing, would love to say Hey to yall skiing the 'ghee or touring the pass. We're right in Alta off SkiHill but we're heading off to Tulum on Fri the 24th so no turns or beers will be shared. Snow up high has been awesome. Just look for the sheltered zones.... Enjoy!

I was more speaking toward the 20 feet of snow that feel in town since 1der went through a while back.
Most of the outlets are gone now. Coach, Wilson Leather, and Polo all pulled out in the last couple years. Droughts aren't good for ski towns.
