Re: Valley of Fire Meet and Greet Trip Report

I wish we could have made it out earlier. It was worth the 800 mile round trip to spend just one night with you all.

Re: Valley of Fire Meet and Greet Trip Report

Mac, you pulled off a great trip and I have to thank you for helping me out
while I was broke down near Vegas. Receiving a phone call from you took a
lot of stress off me and the dealership you suggested was really great. Nobody
likes to sit at a dealership waiting for their van to be repaired but they got er done
and put me back on the road to meet up with everyone. Sorry you had to leave
and miss out on the scope. Maybe one of these days I'll make it back down to
meet up again. I'll set it back up for ya. DV isn't that far away from you. Again THANKS!

For those attending, I really enjoyed meeting the group. All the forum members
were great and putting faces to those screen names made the trip. I have never
seen a forum that has so many premium members. I wish I had more time to
stick around as time was short and I didn't get to meet with everyone like I wanted to.
I'll be posting some pics soon.

Great trip folks...lets do it again.
Dave Boyer.

Re: Valley of Fire Meet and Greet Trip Report

Apparently the article on the Valley of Fire meet and greet didn't make it into the paper this week. Maybe next week!

Re: Valley of Fire Meet and Greet Trip Report

I made some fun images that weekend with all those great folks around.

Here's Mac simply exuberant that it all came together. What a man!

This is the group image of 21 Sportsmobiles that assembled at Atlatl Rock. I now call them 'The Outhouse Gang'. Big image Here. You'll need to scroll to see it all.

Arch Rock camp from the rocks above my rig in the foreground:

And finally a landscape image of what this place is all about:
