THIS IS IT!!! This is the week of the Valley of Fire Meet and Greet. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. We're going to have a great time. I will be arriving at the Valley of Fire around 10:00 am on Thursday. See you there!

Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get away this weekend either. Just to many Irons in the fire.

Ron,
Bummer you can't make it. If things change let me know so we can still meet up along the way. I'm glad we got to spend some time seeing you a couple of Saturday's ago.

Kris and I will be leaving sometime Thursday morning. It's an 8+ hour drive so it'll be late afternoon, early evening when we get in. Unless my wife finds a reason to stop in Salt Lake and shop, then it may be later!

Laura and I will be leaving from the Bay Area Thursday morning, arrival is planned for late afternoon/early evening but as always is dependent on what we see along the way!

The SMB was just towed to the Ford dealer. Was at the store for a last second errand before heading out to Valley of Fire and when I came out it wouldn't start, even with a jump.
Hopefully it's just a new set of batteries and I'll be on my way. If so, it'll be a late night getting in.

Towed this morning from the grocery store to the Ford dealer. We were almost ready to head out of town. I guess the bright side is, it could have happened somewhere along the 8+ hour drive between Pocatello and Valley of Fire! It looks like 'Valley of Fire' will have to wait until next time.

Still waiting on the dealership to figure out what the issue is.

If anyone sees this message and is heading to the meet up, please let Mac know I won't be making it.

My wife and I were looking forward to meeting everyone. The last meet-up I was at was in 2012 I think in the Tetons.

Hope everyone has a good time and makes it safely to and from the meet up.

Same thing happened to me during the last meet. I got stranded outside Vegas and at least Mac set me up with who to take it to. At least you didn't get stranded on the trail. Good luck on the repair.
