We have 10,000 sq ft and just aren't using it all... taxes/insurance/maintenance have me making 4 or 5 really great tables a year just to pay golfers and pensioners. If we can sell this spring, we'll spend summer in New England, and travel NorthWest during the fall, hopefully culminating in a Baja trip with some of the forum peeps, and the remainder of the winter in Big Bend or similar. Then back to New England where we will try to re-establish. No retirement anywhere in our future... we'll have to work till the end.
I have a fella coming here in 45 mins for his 4th looksee... fingers crossed!!!

The wife and I would like to make this and have it on our calendar.
I had a great time in 2011. Hope to again.
Thank you Mac as you did a great job putting it together last time.

Yeah that was one fun trip. I really thought the weather was gonna be too hot but it worked out well.
Here is a link to my trip report if anyone is needing a bit more information. Beware it's a long rambling post with lots of pictures.
V of F forum trip report
The whole thing came off so well thanks to Mac.
If things work out I'd like to see if anybody would be interested in meeting up outside Mono Lake for a night of camping and then head to V of F. Ya got me wondering if there are some other good trails around the Park to explore but even if not, I'd like to see another forum meetup there.

Great trip report Dave (other than the fact you got my last name wrong). I had never seen this report before. Wonderful pictures. Brought back some great memories of that event. I hope we can pull it off again. It took a lot of planning and finagling to save all of the camping spots. The rangers didn't like me saving spots. I hope I can get away with it again.

I wonder if it would be hard to "reserve" those spots since the weekend of Oct 7-9 is a three day weekend (at least it is for banks).

Yikes! That will make a difference. I'm changing it to the following week -- October 14-16. Hey everyone who said you are coming, please note the date change. Hopefully you can still come.

Damn, I just screwed myself! I'll have to choose between this meet or the Race of the Gentlemen taking place in Pismo Beach.
