Nope! Paved roads in the Valley of Fire State Park (45 miles north of Las Vegas). Four-wheel isn't even necessary on the Bitter Springs Scenic By-way where several people took a half-day trip in 2011. Higher clearance would be helpful on that road, but there are no dicey spots. Only some sand occasionally. But, if you got stuck, there are plenty of 4X4 rigs to quickly pull you out.

October is a long ways a way. You can commit at the last minute. We will find space for you if we need to.

We checked our calendar and the first or second weekend in October will work for us. We are heading to Minneapolis the third weekend.

We had a great time at the last event. I still have my "Official" VOF sticker on my bulletin board over my desk.

I missed the last one due to a planned vacation. Count me in on this one.
