Great pictures as usual. This is a place that is high on my list of places to visit so I'll be checking in regularly for updates. I wish there was an easy way to get my van there from the West coast of the US. Hope you have a great trip!

It was a hotel that had a campsite right next to it just south of the west fjords. We camped there on an evening that the northern lights were very active. There was a hotpot up the hill from the hotel that had a little changing room hobbit hut next to it. As we were leaving in the morning I saw a sweet van in the hotel parking lot so I swung in to grab a quick picture. I was in a rental defender 110 camper. There was a big indoor pool just down from the hotel. I will find the name of the place but I can't place it right now

That's right, it was Guđrúnarlaug Hot Springs.

We stopped there to enjoy the hot spring and I remember seeing your Defender in the campground when we arrived, then coming by to take a picture of VivaLaVida! You should have stop by to say hello.

Here a short update...

24. It's so windy here that caravans are teid to the ground!

25. Little village of Tjřrnuvík.

26. Since the bay is open on Atlantic Ocean, this place is well known as a surf spot.

27. Cliffs

28. Over a small pass in the rain (it's raining about 300 days a year there!).

29. Arriving in Gjógv

30. This old village was build since there is some natural shelter for boats.

31. The village.

32. ...

33. Fog coming down on VivaLaVida boondocking site at dusk.

To be continued...
