Watching a show on chassis tv about a team racing an old 914 at the 24 hours of lemons race. One of the drivers is an amputee motox/racecar driver named Chris ridgeway. Am I safe to assume that’s member ridge from here and expo?

Thanks gb. I spelled his name wrong though. There’s no e in ridgway.

I remember seeing vids of him long ago in the xgames and just racing motox. Most anyone doing the motox best trick part of the xgames would have to be a nut. I have a few friends that ride at that caliber. Same deal, nuts in the head but you’d never know just chatting with them on the street. If you can keep up with them super fun to watch.

Anyway was just kinda cool to put a face to a name. Have always enjoyed his posts and what others have posted of him. Oh and our iPad died right at the end of the show when they were announcing who they were gonna vote as best team so I assume they got that, but it was cool cause chris came across the line coasting and out of gas on the last lap on exactly 300 laps at the event. They raised enough money to provide 8 people with prosthetic limbs. Thought that was pretty dang cool!

Ya, taking it to the next level there for sure!
At first, I said to myself, I’ve done that trail, but it didn’t look like that! Not to be confused with the hole in the rock ROAD, connecting on the OTHER side of lake Powell outside the town of Escalante.
Although it rained pretty good one night while we were camped at dance hall rock(where the Mormons gathered for dances) and turned the graded road to 6”+ of Utah’s finest red dirt mush. If you’ve ever driven in that stuff, you would know it sticks to everything, turning your A/T’s into racing slicks. After sliding sideways down a slight hill, and barley making it back up the other side in 4 low, we figured it was time to turn around.
