Winter Safari

SMB'ers;
We're in the planning stages of our annual winter safari.
This years trip will begin with the same week in Kentucky, but from
there we're taking Ky.80 [future I66 corridor] West to I65 South, @
Bowling Green, then West on I40 to Flagstaff Arizona.
From Flagstaff it's South on I17 to Phoenix and West on US 60 to
Apache Junction.
Our return is also planned in reverse, I10 East dropping down into
Corpus Christi Texas for a week, then East to Ocean springs Mississippi
for week or more, [mission work].
Leaving Mississippi for Florida then eventually home[ NW ohio].
We're always seeking Free or moderately priced spots to overnight on
the way, particularly along I40 going West and I10 heading back East.
We're pretty well covered by family in Apache Junction, Corpus Christi,
and Ocean Springs, Savannah, Augusta, and all of Kentucky.
Trip begins, [hopefully], the second week in January.

Hey Ken, have you stayed in Corpus Christi before? It's on my list...

Also, in Bowling green you should check out the corvette factory tour and museum if that's your thing.

Buji;
We stay at the Shady Grove RV and Mobile home park in the Flour Bluff area of Corpus Christi.
We don't do much in the way museums etc. as most of our travels are to visit family and friends.

Thanx for the tip though,
