ARB twin is the way to go. I mounted mine under the driver seat (just cut the cross bar out). Clean ,dry and out of the way.

Lenny, that's just a slick way to mount it without loosing any usable space...

and if you turn it on and then sit on the seat it’s probably like a massage chair!

Get a CO2 tank and set it up for filling tires. No power needed and you can fill it up for pretty cheap $10-$15

Sometimes you can find mini scuba tanks on Craigslist for cheap or you can get a small welding tank

You probably won't be able to buy a faster system. You can have a complete setup for under $150.

Mine will be under 50 because I got the tank pretty cheap and it was filled. I have most of the stuff needed laying around already

Another benefit for the CO2 tank is you can run air tools. There have been a few times in my life where I wish I had a impact gun on the side of the road unfortunately.

Many years ago, Costco had a small 12vdc/110vac tire inflator for $25.00! It had a digital readout where you could preset your desired pressure and it would shut off when it reached it. I bought it for my GF and only wished I had bought more at the time because I haven't seen them back for sale.

I carry a Lowe's brand 12vdc/110vac tire inflator with the same features as the Costco one but it was a tad more expensive. It has a really long cigarette lighter cord stored in it. I even use it as my everyday tire inflator instead of the large air compressor. Again, I haven't seen it for sale at Lowe's in awhile now.

Both of these units will quit working if you run them too long and overheat them. They do need their union breaks.

This guy is inexpensive, reasonably high cfm (for this type/price point) and would be perfect for the "only need it a couple times a year" crowd:

I don't know why the price seems to fluctuate so drastically (have seen them from $49-$149!) but I bought one last month for $59 off of Amazon. I've used it to air up one time so far and was pleased with my purchase.

I carry a Viair 88P Portable Air Compressor in my van. It has worked well for me. I have standard Michelin tires on the van. Nothing extreme.

I picked up a mv50 for cheap due to all the positive feedback ive seen on expo and elsewhere. I plan on keeping it in the car, but ive been using it for the van until I repair/upgrade the onboard system. it inflates from 30 psi to 50 psi with (basically)35's in 3-4 minutes. not bad for a pump that was under 50 bucks.
