2008 Recall

I received a recall notice today from Ford. Its the Yoke to the driveshaft. I had mine looked at last week and wasn't effected. Either it had a good yoke or SMB replaced it as part of the 4x4 conversion. 2008 2wd might be effected.

Charlie,

I too, received that notice. I contacted Jonathan at SMB West, and he said that they replaced the yoke. Not to worry!

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I have a 4x4. I don't know about the 2wd yoke recall.

I called Larry at Quigley today. For the record the recall does NOT apply to Quigley 4x4 either. Only to 2WD.
