Check back to the front of the thread and you will see the build. Lots of fuel and lots of air!

Maybe I missed it but who's PCM tuning are you using? Did you also tune the FICM?

I'm not sure I did include that info. The van is tuned on the platform HP Tuner. For a 6.0 that IS THE ONLY platform that can tune the PCM and the FICM at the same time. It's almost like your tuning a newer common rail truck the way it works. Instead of fooling ICP and such to make it work, you use the FICM to tune the injectors.

If anyone is interested in getting your van tuned , I can set you up.

I've never heard of the platform HP tuner. I'm running FICM and PCM tunes from Power Hungry Performance. I'm pretty happy with how synergistic they are. I've tried tunes from a few others and two in particular never could get it right for the vans.

Some of the tuners do adjust fueling by fooling the ICP sensor but the FICM has all control over the injectors. The nice thing about FICM tuning is it only increases the length of the burn whereas PCM tuning increases cylinder head pressures by advancing the timing. Not to worry about with head studs I guess (which I have) but my PCM tune is still rather conservative at 80HP. Anyway, cool to see how much HP and performance can be coaxed out of an E350. Kudos!

I did re-read the entire thread. I'm no diesel expert though and I still wonder how you make that much boost. Does a bigger turbo make that happen? Turbos often times have some form of boost limiter to limit boost, if you don't have one, will boost pressures simple continue to climb sky high? Detroits have both turbos and superchargers to get more boost, would a bigger turbo do the same thing? Thanks........
