unreng, I'm also interested in an update & your thoughts after you have run your rig for a while, and curious if you have you been monitoring Temps prior for comparison?
Thanks.

I'll provide as much feedback as I can, with a few caveats.

I do have a Edge temp sensor located in the engine bay, but I haven't been monitoring engine bay temps because the engine is brand new, and other temps are more important at the moment. With the season changing, unsure how realistic temperature measurement will be at this point?!? There's no doubt that these products work, but only covering one of 4-5 heat sources in the engine bay may not be noticeable.

I also need to wrap the exhaust pipes - either with wrap, or sleeve. I want to do ceramic coating, but want to try exhaust sleeve first.

I had the same heat problem with my 2006 6.0. Could not hold my hand on the passenger side of the dog house. I installed a turbo blanket and wrapped the down pipe and it fixed the problem. I had been planning to add insulation to the dog house but it runs cool enough that I don't need to now.
