thanks for link,didnt find the topic .but i already have read up on it.i was really interested if anyone had 1st hand experience with their smb.it would make a huge difference without the fuel cost!!
You will find many users who take WVO (waste vegetable oil) and run it in their diesels.

Generally, WVO is much less compatible with the newer high-pressure common rail diesels, like the 6.0 Powerstroke or the Duramax. The 7.3L however will run on just about anything.
I run homebrew biodiesel and have been considering veggie. Given the amount of work required to dewater oil I am opting out of veg. My friend wasted his injectors with a small out of wet oil. $4500 for his 7.3 replacements was enough to spook me. I have been trouble free for 4 years on both my VW's with biodiesel so the new van is getting it's share now.
