I've had nothing but trouble from my POS Suburban POS furnace. It just wouldn't fire when below 30F. I had it serviced and bled the propane tank to no avail. I could hear it spark and smell LP at the exhaust, but it just wouldn't fire. What a POS!

So here's what NOT to do. I gave it the shortest blast in the intake--the lower one on my rig--with starting fluid. Then I walked around the van, got in and turned on the furnace. It fired instantly with no drama.

So if you're sick of your POS Suburban, DON'T ever give it the shortest blast possible of starting fluid in the intake, wait 20 or so seconds and turn it on.

Tom, when you don't do this again, if it does work like you don't want it to, if you are instantly airborne in a westerly direction, wave to us as you pass over the Olympic Peninsula.
