Ford Van 2wd Fox Shocks
Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know that I wanted a Fox shock for the front of my van that is 2wd and I ended up figuring out what works.
Fox Shock 985-24-045 with an ES11 bottom bushing/sleeve combination.
It is about 1/2" too short at full droop but if you have 2wd, your not going to be jumping your van anyway. And if you do end up jumping your van I am sure the shocks will be the last thing you worry about.
You can order the shocks online but if you want the bottom sleeve bushing its a little harder to get. I go through Mark of Marks Sand Trans in Forest Grove, Oregon and he said he is more than willing to order and ship the shocks/bushings/sleeves anywhere within the US.

UPDATE!
After further investigation, there is actually a more appropriately sized shock for this application.
Fox 980-24-663 with an ES11 Bottom bushing/sleeve would fit exactly the way it should.

Recommend you update/revise your first post with new info. Most people browsing do not dive into the post responses. Cheers!

Can confirm. Shocks won't fail first when jumping the van. I had a pretty hard hit on the dirt road between Agness and Powers. Forest Service put in a giant new water bar across the road, which I hit at about 50 MPH in the dark. With hitch rack and trailer, both loaded. It bent my 20,000# rated Reunel hitch bumper at the brackets. The landing was hard enough the front bumper dug in and showered the windshield with gravel.

I am going to have Mark at Marks sand Trans actually put his hands on one and make sure the measurements I have are the same as the actual ones and if so then ill update the initial post.
Thanks for the heads up!
