I recently bought a pair of the Runcool Hood Louvers, size medium. I'm wondering if any of you who have done the hood louver mod have considered locating the louvers closer to the centerline of the hood.
Most who have done this mod put them out wide.
Looking at the underside of the hood and location of the support structure...
The wide position should avoid cutting in to any of the support structure. The center position might require cutting a small amount from the support structure.
I think locating them in the center gets them closer to the heat source; gets them closer to the fan to allow more air flow; and I like the look.
Is there anything I'm missing? Have any of you considered this position?
