Art in the machine

I swear I have never seen someone produce such a stellar piece of art. This is craftsmanship taken to a level of mastery that is rarely so carefully explained.

This is a mental Christmas present to every machinist, gear head, gas monkey, tech wrench, ...and shade tree mechanic. Especially those of you that are lucky enough to have prodigy that are computer nerds. Teach the next generation to think about problems and how to solve them with the use of new tools.

THANK YOU.

I'm happy to report that the brakes have been working just fine. Well, for a big heavy SMB

Drove up from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe for some back country skiing. Lots of highway speed braking and on hills. No issues and especially no vibration or "Death Wobble". With the old brakes I would occasionally experience DW. Not one sign of that now.

Next project (in the works) is to replace the rusted propane hatch. The hatch itself can be cleaned up but the big ugly piano hinge on the bottom is rusted and shot. But that will be another post.

Thanks for all the comments. Appreciate them all and hope this helps others.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

Good to hear you're pleased with the results of your last project...No way a hatch job will come close to challenging your talents.
