Re: Mud Flaps in Arizona

You know, instead of the reclining "lady" on a set of mud flaps, some enterprising individual on the forum could make a metal SMB cut-out and sell SMB mud flaps here.

Yea, but then you would have to wear one of those hideous "Hobbyist Vendor" tags...

Re: Mud Flaps in Arizona

Well crap,it's time to make the mud splash. I kinda like Mikes solution but would rather have something removable. I'm worried about backing and ripping them off during off road adventures. Anybody have any solutions? Seems BW had something I saw in the past. Zeta?

Re: Mud Flaps in Arizona

Flaps are never a good idea when four wheeling in reverse. They won't last a few minutes.

hang them off the rear bumper instead of the fender? a piece of small angle iron and a few screws and they would be easily removable and wouldnt get in the way wheeling. just a though.

Thought about the back bumper but I kind of like what NotMiller did. I really don't like the rear bumper look not that any look good IMO but that's just me. Storage is almost a larger issue. It would be my luck to forget em when leaving home on a trip so I need to keep them on board.

Re: Mud Flaps in Arizona

Im with ya, I dont care for the looks of them either. no matter how useful they can be.

maybe make them a quick release? so that you could fold them in the upright position when you didnt want to see them, but pull a pin and down they flop. then you dont have to store anything (that would always end up buried, lol) and youd never leave them at home. but ya, the other gent with the removable ones did a good job with his setup.
