Have to say thats great workmanship. Obviously you have thought this whole thing through, and already made material selections for every process. I'm sure a lot of DYI'ers will appreciate this thread.
Almost makes me want to peel back some of my install just to see whats actually in place - Believe I'll refrain though, pretty sure ignorance will keep my sanity (and checkbook) in balance.

What flooring is that? Looks impenetrable.

TrafficMASTER scorched walnut grey, sheet vinyl....in stock at Home Depot. Has a nice wood “grain” feel and looks really nice installed, nice to have a seamless floor, no moisture is getting in. Was also excited to get rid of the very utilitarian SMB marine vinyl.
Lots of folks have installed vinyl plank flooring, and it looks and works great in a temperature controlled environment, like in a house, but has a tendency when exposed to such temperature extremes, like in our rigs, to shrink at all the seams and the adhesive often fails. Matt at AVC uses only sheet vinyl for his builds for this reason, it just works. Sheet vinyl has also come a LONG way from those of the past, they now look very realistic and have a nice feel to them.

Interior panels cut.....ready for fabric and laminate, going in beginning of next week

Pulled the N-fab tube steps to prep them for paint with a bed liner material, they’ve gotten a little rusty over the years

A little preview of things to come...I traced an extra set of interior panels for use as templates

We’ll have the design of the cabs that we build for mine and I will be working with Matt to put together a flat pack that will be available through me here on the forum to ship out as a DIY cabinet kit for the Econoline, available in an RB-50 layout to start. Haven’t got details on pricing yet, but It’ll come ready to assemble, CNC’d ply laminated on both sides available in a few colors or of your choosing for an up charge, a few options for butcher block counter top cut to fit, prices will vary. The pack will also come with links to purchase items that are designed to fit-water tanks, sink, faucet, fridge, potty etc.
I will start a new thread once we get things put together, just thought I’d plant the seed here first, keep an eye out in the coming months.....I have to get through mine first, and I guess you’ll see how it turns out and if you even like it!

Yes, it’s a lot to take on and I’m getting a bit of sleep, not starting anything on the flat pack stuff yet though, just floating the idea out there for those potentially interested and might be following this thread, that project will come after my build is done for sure, and after Baja.... 🤞🏼

Some good progress today, long day but managed to get the window boxes and wall panels wrapped with foam and fabric. The one spot where the laminate is will be for behind the sink area. Came out pretty nice, not bad for my first wrap job....I think?
Anyway, hopefully installing wall panels tomorrow, prepping the rocker panels and other goodies for bed liner material, oh ya, and I had to remove the CCV canvas to have them repair the screens that ripped, so that’s going back in tomorrow too.....

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere....
Popped over to CCV Tuesday to work on getting the canvas re-installed, a long process for sure, but the ripped screens were replaced and it all went back together pretty nicely plus it got a bead of lap sealant and new bungees.

Window boxes wrapped and secured to the wall panel, a trim piece will be placed over

Test fitting the lower cabinets before they get bedliner

That’s the new gray water tank in front, the new 15 gal freshwater is beside the wheel well inside that cab

Big new Truckfridge and potty in their places before cabs are finalized

Espar D2, water pump, plumbing AND a water filter are going where the old Suburban heater sat!

The bench seat covered in new fabric, tufted buttons gone! Put on new black seatbelts, waiting on the new black shoulder belt. Will soon be installing the guide sleeves for the headrests, will have to wait to get them recovered till after Baja

Certainly are on a roll - impressive, so much progress in such a short time. I too am anxious to see results.
