Thanks for going through this! I definitely want to do a door panel swap as well. They look nicer, and hold more 5h!t too!

My solution may not be for everyone, but I will make a post with my complete process. Here is a hint, I did not rewire anything!

Got new style door panels (existing 2002 to 2013). bought extra bezels and am ready to do the Ben10281 bezel surgery.

BUTTTTT- I like the newer look and action of the 2013 switches.

Has anybody come up with a simple (think idiots guide to)(example) connect the red wire to the orange wire and install on pin #3 type of instructions. I did see the ton of info UNRENG provided. If those are the simple instructions then I'd better go with the bezel swap

Is the mirror adjustment switch fairly easy swap, it hasn't been discussed.

I also have auto locks.

Simple, kind of. It seems every van has different wiring colors depending on engine and options, whether or not they have keyless entry, any power options, no power options and so on. Even cargo vs passenger etc. So easy to determine which wire goes to which is not the easiest. Once the colors are figured out then yeah the physicality of it isn’t hard.

After taking a stab at deciphering the info that others have posted earlier in this thread
I'm getting closer to completing an idiots guide to the wiring needed to swap to the newer door panels and switches.

I can't read schematics worth a %hit but I can attempt to make sense out of printed info.

Does anyone have the pin numbering and wire color and function for the following :

2011 drivers lock, pass lock, auto mirrors & pass window.
2002 auto mirror control

Below is my work in progress. I appeal to those with the electrical skills I do not posses, please feel free add to or provide corrections.

Power windows and door lock wiring.

It depends on what options the 2011 came with. What’s the VIN from the 2011.

It will be different for every van. So the written may not work for everyone. Only people with the same years and options.

It's not so much the color of the wires that is important, it's the pin number and where that wire go's to. I just have 2 door panels off a 2011 junkyard van, no way of knowing what the VIN is. I presume the switches themselves are the same through all years.

I would appreciate it if you would look over my door locks & window pdf and see if you see anything wrong with what is there so far.
