Rear Bumper Table

A way to add tabletop space outside the van:

The design utilizes the two rear Aluminess bumper latches for the storage box & spare tire plus trailer hitch to support a 48"X17¼" platform.

Rear Bumper Table

Advantages are: 1) stows flat inside the van, 2) fast setup, 3) integral to the vehicle, doesn't touch the ground, 4) relatively light weight (11 lbs.). For quick access to the rear storage areas when not set up for camp, the table can be staged to hang from the bumper latches out of the way and off the ground.

Tailgate party, anyone?

Thanks. One more thing off the list. That and 60" Hi-Lift, 12-ton bottle jack kit & wheel chocks, 40" light bar, Maxtrax and a few other things ordered during the weekend sales (thx to all who posted info re. the discounts @ Safe Jack & SMB).

The list is long but getting shorter.

I like it! I have a walkthrough and my fridge is right at the back of my van. I have been thinking about making the rear of the van the "kitchen" since it offers easy access to the fridge. Nice work!
