Hello,
The SMB I just purchased has two new front fenders on it that have not been painted yet. The rest of the van still has the custom painted stripe all around that I believe was done by SMB(see attached picture). Is there a way to find out what the paint codes are for the strip so I can try replicating it on the new fenders? I was hoping to do this in order to keep the van original.
Thanks,
Lee
If you can't find the paint codes body shops nowadays have a device "portable spectrophotometers" that can identify the paint color and determine the formula for the correct color match. https://www.sherwin-automotive.com/h.../ifex-spectro/

I just looked through my documentation and can't find the codes that I thought were there. I think they may be on a sticker on the van itself somewhere. Did you look in the driver's door jam? My van is at another location in storage right now. Next time I'm there I'll check on it for you. I know I've seen them somewhere.
By the way, if it were me I'd go look for two white fenders at a junkyard and then paint the stripes on them. Probably cheaper and easier than having the blue fenders repainted white.
Hi Brian,
Thanks Very Much for your help! I didn't think I saw the codes on the door jam, but I will double-check.
The previous owner got into a fender bender and put the black aftermarket fenders on. They are new. Finding white ones is a good idea though!
I really appreciate your help!

I've found the paint codes from Sportsmobile in the front door jam and in the rear barn door jams - check both.
