Can you elaborate a bit for me. I know that the hole pattern is totally different and new holes would have to be drilled. What other mods were needed to fit the Husky in the Aluminess? My Aluminess is on the road to me as we speak and I am still back and forth on the Husky 10000 or the EP9 (either one with synthetic).

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Superwinch Husky 10000 in Aluminess?

Jeff,
Just going over your old posts about your bumper and I see that you had a 15K winch in the aluminess that required hacking. Did the Husky 10000 ever go into the Aluminess? It looks like it went right into your tube bumper but it is unclear.

On another note how is the Husky 10000 working out for you?

Mark

I really like the Husky... gear driven and not so heavy. but it is hard to fit, I built the tube bumper just for the Husky...

Mark Dont try it. I have a complete machine shop and I still did not like the way it fit in the Alum bumper...
