I'm actually only somewhat joking... you could get a box of these. Cheap (about 5¢ a piece) and effective.

I have to laugh at some of the uses for the finger condoms.....I use them on the barrel of my muzzle loader in damp conditions. Nothing like having dinner in front of you with wet powder.

Hydraulic line covers.

I use hydraulic line dust caps. Still have to replace my couplers every couple years but it keeps the mud out.

You can eliminate the external female quick connector and replace it with a ball valve and male quick connector .

Open the valve before connecting the hose to purge any debris from the orifice.

Install two female quick connectors (one at each end) to the accessory air hose
that is stored inside out of the weather.
Revisiting this old thread since I'm soon to mount up a new OBA system.

Jack's idea above is the best I've figured out. I'm about to have Aluminess front and rear bumpers with storage ports (which aren't weatherproof but are at least not out in the open) and I might go that route.

I've also thought about rigging a single coupler up inside my fuel door hatch. There's a good bit of open room around the fuel fill on E-series vans.

I put a coupler out in the weather on my wife's Jeep and it works fine so far with a cane rubber tip but they are not at all UV stable and break down to bits in a few months if exposed to direct sunlight.

It kind of baffles me in the world of trendy, expensive offroad bits that someone hasn't thought up a bulletproof air line coupler for off road rigs.

Haven't figured out how to post a link yet.

Here is one option that I was considering using once I get my OBA system figured out. Quick Connect Air Coupler Pacifier- NITTO Hi-Flow Couplers

They offer a few options along with some other OBA accessories that are pretty sweet!

Wit's end also has a pacifier specifically for ARB couplers.....apparently they are a little non-standard...

https://absolute-wits-end.com/arb-fi...pler-pacifier/

Interesting...they are available in black Delrin, Brass or anodized aluminum.

If you're intent is to protect the fitting (Dust, debris, weather, etc.) you should consider the Sherman cap (pricey, but full protection):

I like that Sherman cap! A few have posted, and I was already aware, of the rubber/plastic type caps on a tether like your second two links. The problem I see with those is that water/mud/sand get into the back (spring loaded) part of the couplers are eventually ruin them. I like that the Sherman cap completely encapsulates it. Cool design.
