Weathertech Window Visors

I recently installed these simple Window visors and loved them so much I thought I'd better pass it on. I got these originally to get some air flow in my van without letting the rain inside. Turns out these have other benefits too. With these guys installed you can leave your windows cracked a couple of inches and get air flow without worrying about rain damage. What I also learned is that they keep the bugs from getting in while driving and they deflect the airflow just enough to make driving with windows down more enjoyable. If you combine these with with the eclipse shades (retracted in the pictures) you can really bring the parking temperatures down. The down side is blocking some visibility around the pillars, especially if you install the visors and shades as I have done. These visors are made by weathertech. They are the ones that fit into the window channel instead of glue onto the outside. $60 bucks or so shipped, simple to install. I've been thinking about these myself. Did you notice an increase in wind noise any?

Also, I'm interested in those shades as well. Are they completely opaque? What's their coverage percentage when drawn out? (would they be sufficient to provide privacy?

Hey Buji,

I think the wind noise is decreased if anything.

On the shades, they aren't see through at all. They would provide privacy, but I'm guessing you could peek around the corners if you really wanted to.

I'll get a picture for you when I get my van out of the shop.

tom.
