Does your new pan have a drain plug?

Yes it does!
I just checked the website. Looks like a good upgrade for LeadDoggy

Thanks for the photos......

Transmission Pan

LeadDoggy ,
The Mag Hytec Transmission Pan also comes drilled and tapped for a
remote Trans Temp Gauge . I have been monitoring the transmission temperature since picking it up and the Scan Gauge is showing a reduction of on average of 20 degrees . Thanks to Herb I have one less thing to worry about . The only draw back with the installation is that all of my 345 mile old Amsoil 50/50 Blend went down the proverbial drain .
I will refill again here shortly .

Greggde - how difficult was the install and did you have any problems? Where is the step by step write up with pictures ? Also, does it use the same transmission filter as the old pan (I'm assuming it does)? Finally, does it increase the transmission fluid capacity? Thanks for posting the difference in trans temp, that is making me want one as well.

Amsoil Oil

sdwindansea ,
I had Colley Ford very happily install it .I was told by their semi retired transmission technician that this was the best built and easiest to instal on the market , this made me very happy coming from the old crew chief from the Art Carr /Gas Rhonda Factory Ford Racing team . The pan comes milled with an O-Ring in lieu of any gasket materials . I had them install for reasons of warranty and ease of dealing with the discarded fluid . If you purchase directly from Mag Hytec in Van Nuys
California www.mag-hytec.com (818) 786-8325 they will provide you with the replacement filter . This Pan will give you 7.5 more quarts of transmission fluid , which is probably the reason for the immediate drop in my Transmsision Temperature's . Very nice people to deal with
and in my case a 24 hour turn around from the time that I ordered it .
Total for the delivered Pan Kit was $385.46 delivered .
