Replaced a perfectly good white Marinco power inlet with a cheap chinese made BLACK one. 86Scotty PMed me and said the white one was bothering him on MY van, so I immediately ordered the black one. I don't want Eric to be bothered.

Incidentally, they are identical, and the parts are interchangeable. I left Marinco guts and just swapped out the cover.

Wow, even brand new parts on your van are dirty.

Sorry Rob. Maybe I'm just jealous of having a good looking SMB to throw money at.

I'll definitely be getting one of these when I have an electrical system.......some day.

I replaced my OE one from SMB with a Furrion 30-amp connector a year or two ago. Seems really well made and has a small LED that lights up to show that power is present. Easy swap out for the OE inlet. I got a matching Furrion 30-amp cord, which also has an LED on the end that plugs into the power source. With the two LEDs you can easily check to see where power is present or kit for troubleshooting (not that I've had to use that function yet).

Yeah, me too. But two years ago I couldn't find a black one, and didn't think painting the white one would be successful, so I lived with it.

But Eric pointed out black ones exist now, so I got it done!

Thanks Scotty. Feels good to finally have something worth of showing. Still got a lot of small details to finish but at least I can comfortably use it.

I'm also thinking of adding a leaf that could swing up to add more countertop (on the vertical panel left side of the stove)...

Cheers
David
