I feel your pain, I had to buy two new tires in one year due to damage. I bought the insurance on the two new ones, but now I have two ready for replacement too, and I don't really want to buy any more Duratracks, so I'm looking at four new ones pretty soon. Good luck with the patch, it looks fixable to me..

I hear ya man; it always something!
What tires are you looking at this time around?

Finally got around to installing the underfloor storage from northleftcoast. The project went very smoothly and it fit like a charm. Good quality on this thing!

Last December I installed a K&N Air Intake and a SCT Livewire TS+ with 8 custom tunes from 5 Star Tuning. For the last month and a half, I have just been driving without a tune installed to gauge how the K&N performed. I can defiantly notice the difference over the stock intake. Others have said that it is a waste of money for a 5.4. I have to disagree. There is an improvement at least for me. It is louder but I like it. There is a hill near me that I drive all the time and the new intake makes it easier to climb.
So today I installed the 91 Octane Performance/Tow tune from 5 Star. All I can say is AWESOME! It makes a great difference. Now it is really easy to speed. It has a much-improved response and power you can really feel. I think it might be the best upgrade I have made to my van second to only the 4wd.
Cheers
Darryl

Did the tune change when the transmission shifted or something else?
Glad to hear it feels better!
Thanks!

I'm not too sure what all they changed in the programming but there is definitely more power. For example when in 1st gear the van just pops of the line. When I first drove it after I did the install today it surprised me. I drive from my wheelchair and I felt the thrust in my lover back. I have never felt that in my van. My old Bully Dog tuner was good but this is much better. As for shift points, they feel similar to before. I will have to put more miles on it to give a better determination.
Cheers
Darryl

So a while back I installed Bushwhacker flares and ATS Edge running boards. it looked great but the wheels (which I didn't care for) sat too far into the wheel well.
So yesterday I installed the new ATX 195 Cornice wheels and some 2" spacers. It looks 100% better.......BUT, of course now the tires rub against not only the plastic caps on the leading edge of the running boards but the actual pinch metal seem of the body on full deflection of the steering. I guess I now know what I am going to do this weekend

turn night into day!
Finished my light upgrade project. First was the headlight upgrade from Redoval and then Baja Designs XL80 driving combo, Squadron Pro fogs, and S2 Pro flush mount into the aluminess bumper for wide cornering.

Replaced original Suburban hot water tank with new. Original was leaking and I admittedly never once in the time I've owned the van, looked at or replaced the anode. I promise to maintain the new tank!
Installed new ARB twin compressor. Original ExtremeAire was never fast at filling tires and had just gotten slower over the years (even after a rebuild). ExtremeAire would take probably around 15 minutes to go from 40PSI to 60PSI. Test with new setup is ~3 minutes to go from 30PSI to 60PSI (35" tires)! Moved new compressor to interior of van next to hot water heater on a quick release mount with idea of being able to time share it with my Jeep.
Replaced old (virtually worthless) Hella's in the front bumper with PIAA LP560. Nice upgrade!

pjpvi, I just sent a PM about your old compressor. Curious what your plans are for it.
