Nah, these fenders were stock until Saturday. I'll take a pic tomorrow.

Yeah. It's a bigger difference than I expected - specs are that they're only about 1.75" taller, but they seem a lot more.

That's 1.75 taller than another new tire I suppose, not one that's nearly worn out. That should raise your gearing a bit, but I imagine you will never notice with all that torque. So, you old 32's never rubbed?

Not much of a mod, but we added a Wilton ATV vise to the tool capabilities on the van. This is a very well made item (as with any Wilton product) that can be used in the shop or on the trail.

No rubbing on the old tires, even when new. Have since moved the front axle forward, and lifted the rear with new springs, so moved up in tire size. Maybe should have gone wiht 34s, I might not have had to cut and weld. Oh well.

As for gearing, yeah, I will regear. The 3.73s were borderline before, now a bit sluggish off the line and up hills. The question is, 4.10 or 4.30?

Despite comparing apples to oranges (gas vs diesel) I had 3.73s with 32in tires and was kinda low on power. I installed 4.10s and my speedo error went away (it's now accurate to 1mph) and got respectable performance back which makes me think I'm close to what it felt like with with stock size tires. For me, I think 4.30 might have been a little deeper than I need since 99% of my driving is on the road. I wonder if it would be a similar result for a diesel?

Yup. Got me. I'll debate it a while and then flip a coin.

The weight of the van might make a difference. I had 285's on my van and the stock 6.0 was sluggish off the line. The 315's made it worse. After a tune I'm happy with the 4.10s.

I can't wait until tomorrow Rob. Don't you have a camera with a flash? Set up some tripod lights? Drive over to the grocery store parking lot? C'mon man, this is your community!
