Changed the oil and rotated the tires which allowed me to re-torque the rear wheel spacers and wheels to spec.

I installed new glass in my “40” door, because crackheads are azzholes.

Was stuck buying tinted glass, so now I have to get the rest of the windows tinted.

That sucks, but you just get away with only losing a widow, or did they manage to steal stuff too?

Could have been worse I guess. They did steal my 4-D Maglite that I had owned for about 25 years. I previously installed locks on many of my cabinets so I didn't lose anything expensive.

Indeed it does. But, at least I'm still with friends with things like my compressor, Cobb grill, camp stove, lanterns, etc.

Finally installed the Vantage Optic's Headlights I purchased from Scott (REDOVAL)- Big difference from OEM!
***Great product, and I have no reservations announcing my endorsement of his Headlight setup.

Replaced My 30 Amp Shore Power Connector

While driving home in my new (to me) 1998 SMB in a 30mph head wind, whenever an 18 wheeler passed me, I would hear a loud bang on the exterior DS of the van. I finally pulled over on I-80 because I was convinced I forgot to put the gas cap on when I filled up.

Nope, gas cap secure and door closed. By the time I got home, I figured out it was the cover to the 30Amp shore power plug-in slamming from the bow wave of the trucks.

Not a sexy project, but the cover snaps closed and a big sense of accomplishment for me. Plus, the plugs were looking pretty nasty.

Well what I wanted to do today was in stall my Kenwood DNX575S, but decided that I'm not a fan of the Metra 95-5817 DDIN adapter kit because it sets it back into the dash almost 3/4" and seems like it would make the buttons on the head unit impossible to see from the drivers seat without leaning over towards the center console.

I've been searching the forum and the web for an alternative, but so far have only come up with the Scosche FD1330B but I cannot find any info on it or even any pictures of it installed. Anybody have any sage advice? Or maybe have used this kit with a similar head unit and found it not to be a PITA?

Post #217 in this thread (first link below, it wouldn't let me quote the photo) has a picture of the same install kit with a different head unit. The Kenwood (second link) has small buttons right along the left edge. They are clearly meant to be flush with the bezel ring, but with the Metra they are basically right up against the wall of the bracket and 3/4" deep from the face of the dash.

Replaced the failed ARB compressor solenoid. The compressor is working again, yea.

Removed the broken exhaust hanger by the rear passenger tire, welded it back together and reinstalled it.
