I took a trip to the local Pick and Pull, and scored a molded carpet kit that cleaned up like new, a couple molded plastic door sill inserts, a handful of injectors and coils, some dash parts, and a remote keyless entry module, all for under $40. There was a lot of other cool stuff like a complete set of interior plastic moldings, and lots of pop out windows I didn't have time to get. I may go back this week for a couple windows. I"m making good progress on my new van.......

Replaced my Shurflo water pump. Of course this one was different than the old one, so had to move it up and to the right on the backing board, this gave clearance for the longer strainer. Couldn't utilize the existing plumbing to the inlet/outlet so replaced with braided lines which give much more flexibility in positioning the pump. Used a 20" line on the suction side and a 16" line on the discharge side. Was even able to utilize the old mounting holes to secure the wiring harness. Also didn't like how the backing board was soooo floppy (having no top mount). Experimenting with gluing a small bracket to the top of tank and hoping it will stick well enough to be able to draw the board into it for a much more stable setup

Thanks Jeff - I appreciate the offer! I went ahead and ordered up one of those new fangled LED ones on Amazon. Very fancy

Pulled the trans back to replace the starter ring today. A whole bunch of fun.

Realigning the Torque Converter to Starter Ring is a pain. First time I've done it on a Ford. On old Chevy's it's much easier.

For a moment I thought you had a photo from under my van as I had the same exact transmission jack under my transfer case today. I never thought of using my impact to raise and lower it though, good idea.

More Storage

Installed an under-floor storage box. Really happy to have it!

Installed a new ACR, BlueSea 7620. It comes with a new remote switch that allows manual turning on and off, and auto. Much better than the switch SMB installed.

Where did you put the relay? I have one, yet I'm still looking where to put the relay, and what route to run the cables. There's no real room under the dash, so I'm looking at one of the cabinets behind. Rob =
