What work did you do to your SMB today

Installed removable rubber plugs in the bottom of the rear aluminess bumper, and ran a caulking bead all around the inside. Trying to eliminate most of the desert dust from accumulating inside. Also, figured out our version of the homemade canopy.

With the roof racks removed, there are 2 metal brackets on each side. Installed a small carabiner through these brackets, and through grommet holes in a lightweight tarp. Stretched the remaining tarp fabric forward to the solar panel bracket, and rearward to a tie-off on the swingarm/box and attached. The initial thinking is that this puts the tarp way too high, but it allows plenty of headroom and lets the doors swing wide open. The tarp is extended outward, away from the van to extension ploes which are tied off to the ground/stakes. Side grommets with 1/8in. line allow for extra tie-out's, in high winds.
