Thanks for the input I may try it under first and then move on to the door or Aluminuness right now I am still working on the inside trying to get ready for a little Carolina trip this summer. Thanks again you guys are always helpful.

I've got one of these tire carriers on my van. Will it fit a 33" tire with the stock bumper? How was the tire mounted? Just a threaded rod with 3 nuts and washers?

Just padding my post count with stupid questions. Yep 33 fits with stock bumper. Threaded rod works but is kinda weak. Maybe I can find a stronger one.
