Z's Fiamma Awning Brackets

Nice work! I'm glad to see progress after my failed attempt.

Probably. Is there an inch or so between to closed top and the inside edge of the rain gutter?

Re: Z's Fiamma Awning Brackets

Hey Zeta, my SMB build should be starting in the beginning of April. I've been wanting the Fiamma awning, but so many posts talk about the damage the awnings cause to to van.

Any chance I might be able to buy a set of these for my new build? My van's birthdate is Feb 10 (so it should be a 2013).

They're not bolted to the van--they are clamped on the gutter. This is a very strong design used by Fiamma.

Z
Reread and noticed the comment about Fiamma using this design. So if we are just now ordering an awning it'll come with similar ones?

No. Fiamma awing brackets are sold separately from the awning. Too many different bracket choices depending on the vehicle.

And Zeta's brackets are based on a Fiamma design, and not a specific bracket model by Fiamma.

Right. They are modelled after the Fiamma brackets for VW vans.

Thanks Mike.

Re: Z's Fiamma Awning Brackets

Z, are they going to be one hundred billion dollars apiece or is that for the set of 3? I am trying to weigh the relative costs of cutting and re-welding my older ones to clear the PH or getting a set from you....
