After staring at the van's interior and peeking inside a lot of the panels several times, I think what I'm going to end up doing is building some boxes over the rear wheel wells. This is dead and mostly un-usable space anyhow, so I think this is a good solution. I'll put charger, inverter, solar controller, and fridge outlet back there on the passenger side since it's closest to the frame mounted batteries. Then on the other side might be a good spot for our heater. I'll post pictures as things get moving here in the next month or so.
