AC main breaker

What type or brand of AC breaker box does your Van convertion use. What does Sportsmobile and Spinter convertion companies use>?? Marine type are probly ok but my god the prices that Blue Sea gets for there A/C D/C panels are a lot of QWAN! So any ideas or "what not to USE"? THX Brad

I used a Progressive Dynamics PD4000. It has a 120v distribution panel, a smart house battery charger, and a 12 volt distribution panel all in one small unit. It uses standard 120v circuit breakers such as the GE HACR type. It also has provision for an external 12v disconnect, which I use to make sure there is no load on the house battery when parked at home.

It is similar to some of the Blue Sea units, but less expensive since it's made for RV's not boats.
