Avital alarm programming

Anyone have a copy of the instructions to reprogram your Aviatal remotes? I have the instructions for the Avital 4400, but I don't see how to reprogram the remotes.

thanks,
Herb

My instructions cover the programming of all the features (which I never really use), but I need the info on how to reassociate the remotes with the alarm unit. something happneded where neither or my remotes is recognized by the alarm.

Here is what I gather:

1. Turn valet switch off
2. Turn Ignition Key On
3. Flip the valet switch x times
4. The alarm will beep 1 or y times for each flip
5. After the appropriate number x or y for your model, hit the door lock
6. Turn the Ignition Off

The question is, for your model how many valet switche flips On (x) or resulting beeps (y) correspond to "Auto Learn Remote".

Clear as mud right?
