You mean that big black button? in the silver housing?

THAT my friend is the air horn that plays the first part of "The Eyes of Texas"....

Hook 'Em Horns!

....and the story behind that is that my wife said she wanted such a horn. I found it and ordered it during our build, but did not tell her. I was a little worried where we might find a spot for a compressor and 4 trumpets, but SMB TX found a spot. Michele never new until the day I picked up McBeast and took it to her work for lunch.... she heard it as she walked across the parking towards the van...

PRICELESS

Re: bumper lights

I have no reverse lights. I have lights in the bumper, but I have to turn them on manually with a switch. Is there a reason that the reverse lights are no longer working/ disconnected?

Re: bumper lights

Must be a fuse, but now I need to know which fuse.

Re: bumper lights

You can look at the switch itself, there are 3 wires. One side is power, one side is power from the reverse lights, and the center is out to the extra lights on the bumper.

The fact that the extra lights aren't working in R means there is probably no power to that side of the switch, which supports your fuse problem. I'm assuming you've tried this all with the vehicle running (I can never remember when turn singnals / reverse lights work and don't).

Essentially the switch probably isn't your problem because even removed the reverse lights still work. Sorry I can't guess as to where the fuse would be.

Re: bumper lights

My rear bumper lights are switched alone. I do not have to be in reverse.

Re: bumper lights

So even when you're in reverse, to get the rear bumper lights to come on, you have to use the switch?

Mine come on with reverse or when the switch is toggled.
