Camper wiring harness for van ???

Starting to do my own camper conversion on a 98 GMC Savana 3500 2wd,
and for the wiring I would like to know if it's eazyer to take the electical set up
out of a pop up camper and put in my van OR start from scratch? My cousin
bought a pop up camper and all he want off it is the frame/wheels. He told me to
take what ever I wanted from it. Should the pop up have a AC/DC converter
that I could use? I dont know a hole lot about wiring but if
this would make thing go a little smoother than Im all in. Thanks for any help. Luke.

Don't know what you have but I would grab anything that's in good shape. What's the top off of?

Take it all, then don't be afraid to just use it as a template instead of trying to refit. Wire is wire, match the size and connection points and you're good. Take lots of pictures during the teardown (where did THAT go) and identify components later (what is this?)
