Might be good for monitoring your house loads. Not sure if I would put it across the whole system. Other good inexpensive electronics stuff here too. I have bought a few multimeters and cheap soldering guns here. No complaints.
One limitation with those is that they are directional i.e. u won't get any measurements on how much energy went back into your battery during alternator charging or solar panel. There is a new one thats apparently bi-directional. I was planning on installing one of those, but then I'm doubtful of its accuracy, might be worth a shot though. http://a.co/1iQWz0W
