No, I got the message---with the 1314-200 just hold down the start button to get some juice from the house batteries into the engine batteries, release the button and start the engine. And remember, I did have a dead 1315-200, and that connects the batteries whenever the house batteries exceed 13.2 volts. So the "death scenario" daveb described could happen with dead engine batteries and trying to start the engine at a time your solar system is happily charging the house batteries.
