Those look as though they need to be hard wired?
Something like this looks a little easier......

The LED is just part of parasitic draw, there is still some draw from the voltage conversion.

The biggest reason in converting to the new Bluesea units was output current (4.8 amps combined), many of the other units are 2.1 amps combined or 3.1 amps combined.

My outlet puts out 2A each...
And its nice knowing that the wires plugged in aren't going to work loose or such. Just to make it easier I also put in a small rocker switch to shut the power off completely when needed.
