Econoline fuse block

All,

I am looking to add a few fuses to the factory fuse block in vacant spots. My van is a 2001 E350 with the 7.3. Does anybody have a part number or pin information for the pins in the fuse block? I tired contacting ford but they were no help.

I am building a wiring harness to be able to use a electronic transfer case and the cleanest way to grab power under the dash for both constant power and switched power is at the fuse block.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Rob

All the info you need will be in the factory wiring diagrams in the electrical manuals. I got a full set on Amazon for my 2001 for about $100. It takes a bit to learn to read them, but after a short while it all falls into place. Pin outs are all listed. Sorry I can't look anything up for you, but my manuals are packed in the van and we depart in the AM an a multi week trip.

Edit: Did I missunderstand your question? Are you really looking for a PN for the actual pins you need to add to the plug? If so, MG Metal works would certainly have that info, perhaps he will chime in, or send him a PM. Also, Agile routinely installs electric transfer cases, perhaps they can help.

Thanks for your response. Yes I am looking for the PN for the pin itself. I have the factory wiring diagrams and have built the harness and bench tested everything and the transfer case shifts perfectly.

It’s time to install it in the van and tie everything together. Pulling power from the open fuse locations inside the cab will be the cleanest install.

Have a safe and adventurous trip!

Rob,

Can you share anything else on what you have done so far? I'm collecting pieces for an ESOF transfer case and would appreciate any additional info or guidance you can provide!

I plan to do a write up once I have it finished. It works on the bench just fine, but want to ensure it completely works before I send people down the wrong path. I am only doing electronic transfer case. I used manual hubs.

What I have done so far is.
Electronic Transfer Case, the wiring harness from same vehicle from transfer case to the twin relay boxes, GEM module from same vehicle and the switch from the same vehicle and switch from dash. I purchased shop electrical manual for donor vehicle. Traced all wires to pin out locations on GEM module then routed to appropriate locations in the harness. Applied power to GEM module and relays and transfer case works great.

That’s the quick and dirty version. It wouldn’t be much hard to add the vacuum hubs back in but you would need to get the pump from donor vehicle also. It’s all controlled by the same GEM.

If you want to discuss it directly PM me and I will respond with my number.

Just wanted to add another vendor to Jack's links---excellent BTW!

ClipsAndFasteners.com - Automotive Retainers,Clips and Fasteners

and

https://autofastenersandclips.com/

I've used both companies before with good results.

Can you tell me approximately how much you have spent on the parts for the ESOF setup (gem module, harness, relays & switches?) Thank you!

I’ve got $175 into right now that included the transfer case, harness, gem module. Got all the parts from same wrecked vehicle. Lost my work area so project is a little delayed right now.
