I'm not much help when it comes to wiring and electrical diagrams, so can't help you out there, but I'd 2nd what MadScience said about using his passenger side floods much more often. I have pairs on L/R/Rear and a 50" bar up front, I also use the passenger side lights much more often for setting up camp, since that's the side you're opening up to. I also installed rock lights in each wheel well, great for general ground lighting at the camp spot so you're not sitting there staring up at the floods/spots. And yes, without a doubt, add in a solar panel. Good luck!
