Re: Headlight upgrade (Econoline) questions.....

I believe this is the vendor mikracer was referring to in this thread:

It looks like they are built using that moto mini

Sweetums - Thanks for the project post, pics, and parts reference. It looks great.

Picture time!!
I messaged myself the pics off my phone as I'm too lazy/tired to figure out the right way to do it ; )
Hey, the way that works is the right way.

One more question - the black trim around the new smaller lights. Is that another part you needed or is it already set up that way behind the larger trapezoidal lights?

He doesn't use the morimoto kit, but it looks like he uses parts that are similar.

Re: Headlight upgrade (Econoline) questions.....

I'm somewhat confused or uncertain if my housing selection will give me the same results here, to wit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If I'm to do this nothing but glass lens will do which those seem to have. Assuming those are the best ones available for this type upgrade the next selection is which bulbs?

My driving entails almost exclusive city street and freeway driving which does sometimes find me on dimly lit roads----wider & longer light without blinding on coming traffic is my end goal.

TIA for any help, advice or related experiences.

I've had my trucklite 5X7 LED headlights installed since Nov.
I couldn't be happier.
A crappy video of how the truck-liteLED headlights and my hella 700ff illuminate a dark road. Not the best video in the world but I think it shows how good they work
