So i pulled a powered bench seat from a donor van and am looking to wire it up. I figured it was like most motors and the electric poptop. Tested the motors and both work by just reversing the polarity of the 12v power source.
Below are the switches that were in the van. Unfortunately i didnt have the foresight to trace the wires in the donor van, and find it somewhat curious why there are only three wires, unlike the 4 i would expect (Black, red, and two for the motor).
I could use other switches, but would rather use these. There are also other terminals that are unused on the switches.
I presume black is ground and then the other two wires go to each motor. But not sure how the 12v gets to the motor.
Thanks!
